Oktoberfest season is upon us once again and it’s time to celebrate! This year, Oktoberfest runs from September 16 through October 3 and is primarily known for drinking, food, and merriment. You won’t need a passport to travel all the way to Germany as there are plenty of local breweries planning their own celebrations for this festive occasion. So grab your dirndl and lederhosen and head to these Metro Detroit Oktoberfest celebrations.

This year, they will be celebrating Oktoberfest starting September 15 through October 1 at both locations. They will have a variety of German food specials on the menu as well as more than 25 German beers on tap.

Kickstand Brewing Company is celebrating Oktoberfest on September 16 this year from 12-10pm. They will have a beer tent, food, live music, games, stein racing, and barrel rolling all day long outside of their Commerce location. Their inaugural event last year was a great success so they decided to do it all over again!
FRANKENMUTH OKTOBERFEST
